If it was at all possible, it would be fun to see an app integration for Rogers Ignite IPTV. With the ability to use such apps like Netflix and Youtube on the Rogers ignite IPTV boxes, Spotify would be a great addition to the mix. (Uses the same hardware and software as the Comcast Xfinity X1 boxes).

The main reason I got my Spotify subscription almost as soon as it became available in India was because I heard there is a really good app for samsung wearables. I am sure people with gear/galaxy watches in India would love to go to the gym for example without having to carry their phones. This is a request to Spotify to please bing Spotify to the Samsung's app store for wearables in India.

I am currently studying at a sound engineering college and listening to music has become a major part of our work. We are also taught the laws pertaining to music releases and copyrighting. Spotify often comes up during class as it is one of the leading online music distributors. Many students can not understand how digital distribution works and struggle to understand how online streaming algorithms work as they have little to no experience with one as Youtube's recommends content based on how much income it can generate whereas Spotify does it by relevance and shared . They also struggle to understand playlisting due to this. Students often have to pirate albums that are for educational purposes as they cannot afford to pay for it. A fee can be payed by the college in exchange for a student discount for all students. I feel that the best way to get rid of piracy is by starting to prevent it by the very people who create and release the music. This will also encourage students to release music on the platform and help to reduce the Value Gap between online music distributors and Youtube.

Hello Spotify, I just read a 'Not Now' comment from you guys where you won't be supporting a mixer app within the Spotify app. You then pointed out that you have teamed up with your friends at Algoriddim for such capabilities. I purchased DJ Pro 2 soley because i am able to use my Spotify premium account over on the DJ Pro app. One major problem, in Algoriddim DJ Pro 2 program for the Mac, we are unable to efficently pull up our sorted Spotify Albums without seeing duplicates of the album for each song the album has. The major issue is that we are having multiple picture tiles of the same album, no matter how we try to sort through our Spotify library under DJ Pro 2. Even if we click on the Album banner under Songs, we get duplicates of the same album for how ever many songs the artist has under that same album. It seems like another layer(not sure the proper term) is needed at this point to click into an artist or album without having to browse through their entire catalog. The only way to view one album at a time is if you sort your library under Title. But then you're stuck with thousands of songs in alphabetical order. Ideally, the easiest way a DJ can browse through his music catalog is through Albums, and the sorting of Albums is not working correctly and that is the reason of my visit to the forums! We have contacted Algoriddim about this and they've acknowledged the issue. They said this is exactly what Algoriddim was given to work with by Spotify. They said to contact Spotify for this support. Wont you please work with Algoriddim to finely tune the searching of our albums effecitenly and correctly. Please! The lifeline of a DJ is to properly be albe to search through his library. -Gino

When you have Premium for Students, you get the Spotify + Hulu + Showtime bundle. It's really all great and all, BUT there's no way for you to disconnect your Hulu account with Spotify. Well, as of right now, the only way to actually go about this is to cancel your Premium subscription which then cancels Hulu's payment through Spotify. And then you'll have to deal with deleting/deactivating Hulu from Hulu itself. It's really just such a pain of having to cancel your Spotify subscription just to resubscribe again.

Hi. I am firstly posting about rejected idea for VDJ connect. This idea I believe has a considerable impact in the music community. We live music and being able to mix it in a better way and if I can take sportify music and play it on vdj I'm my own dj. Add this feature and because you already have verified artist, think about making an artist radio more exciting not just by songs. A Dj can stream what their mixing at any given time of the day on to sportify playing on the artist radio live, all sessions recorded by artist are available on their podcast channels . I believe sportify prides themself in being first in providing us with good music. I'm willing to pay for this feature , this can boost marketing and dominate music streaming , we are your customers and we will pay for more flexibility and freedom.imagine streaming a live concert and us having to pay for it because we couldn't go to This concert, sportify could do This for us .This is the service I've grown to love and want more of. No company is moving in the direction of appreciation of music and fewer companies understand. I believe sportify understands what a musical platform is , daily mixes always kill me inside , is there a music lover here. Vote for your musical freedom I can share my sportify playlist with anybody willing to listen and they will know all the cool tracks are coming from sportify , will they be unwilling to pay sportify premium Thank you for your time and platform given to us as music lovers First words in bold. Think of it as Netflix for djs. Image being able to choose from my sportify preset play list and playing my set, not carrying usb's or cd albums. I have sportify, I have no stress

Sonos does not list Spotify as a music service in India. Whereas this facility is available in most other countries . So , although I have a premium Spotify account, I cannot make the most of it with my existing Sonos systems. It would be really helpful if Sonos and Spotify India could link their services , so that I can use both of them to the best of their functions.

Set up in a large temperature controllable environment supply each attendee with a device that is in a sound party thing and also connected to a sub pack and a pair of nuraphones. Each song that is played every body hears but through their own devices which are custom tuned to their hearing then when songs switch the temp in 5he room changes and they are given a specific flavor of Gatorade or flavored drink. Plus maybe even some scent in there somewhere but that might be too much. There are very comfy areas to sit down and relax and there is a light show going on in the background. If you don't have any equipment on then you are in a cold/warm room with lights flashing and people walking around not talking to each other drinking flavored drinks and dancing to some song that you can't hear.

I recently bought a Sony xav-ax100 car stereo. I currently run Android Auto with Spotify which is OK however that is about as good of a rating as I can give it. Andriod Auto is glitchy to say the least. It is slow to start and has several problems when connecting through bluetooth. I bought this deck to try to be hands free and I spend more time dinking with it to try to get to work than I did when I just played the music on my phone. There is no way it is safer, which was my whole goal.
It would be AWESOME if Spotify would just build their own app that runs on Car Stereos like the Sony xav-ax100.
It should run completely independent of my phone except when it needs to transfer data. Streaming music kills my phone battery and I get in out of my car constantly so hooking up a powercable/usb is very annoying.
Netflix has brilliantly added an opening question of 'Who is watching?' This causes Netflix to customize what shows are available based on the viewer. Spotify could do the same thing and say 'Who is in the car?' (or link to multiple phones and just know who is in the car) and provide a custom blend of channels based on this info.
I would study how people use services like XM radio. Spotify has channels already that are customized to its users. Figure out how to make those be channels in my car without requiring me to use my phone. That would be great if I could completely customize my list of car channels to what I want and not what some other company thinks I should listen too.
Spotify could easily compete with Sirrus and XM if you would just download 64Gb of music to the stereo in the car.
95% of the trips drivers go on are just a few minutes, maybe an hour. Even vacation trips are less than 15 hours of driving. If the unit had even just 64Gb of memory it could easily store 500 hours of music to prevent replaying the same song for months unless the user wants to hear it again.
My car spends about 8 hours a day with in range of my wiFi at my house. If the app was designed to download fresh music, like my daily mixs or any changes to my playlists, when the radio was in range of the secure wifi users could always have new music to listen to. Spotify could also easily make sure the licensing and subscriptions are up to date via wifi or phone connnections.
Even if it was not able to connect via wifi, which would be the most convenient, it could transfer a file to my phone then upload to the deck when I connect with the usb cable.
Clean up the interface so it operates as easily as XM Radio currently does in cars. The layout in Andriod Auto makes me look away from the road for too long to change what I am listening too.
HUGE THING - Make voice recognition work through the app so I can just say 'Hey Spotify, play . . . . . . '. Currently it tries to use something through Andriod Auto and it is infuriating because it never works right. In fact, half the time Andriod Auto simply says "I am not allowed to do that right now". My wife and I end up screaming at the stupid thing until we finally just start laughing because it is so dumb.
Add commands like 'Hey Spotify, add this song to my library'
Add commands like 'Hey Spotify, show me my playlists'
Add commands like 'Hey Spotify, play songs that my wife and I both like' (pick songs in both our history)
Add commands like 'Hey Spotify, show me the artist profile' that opens an easy to read at a glance screen that shows info about the artists and song data. The little RDS 8 character display that scrolls across the screen so slowly when you listen on the radio is so unsafe it is insane. I spend way too much time with my eyes off the road when I am trying to figure out who is singing the current song.
Most newer radios stay on for 20 minutes or until a door is opened. In 20 minutes, a lot of music could be refreshed. But if that is not sufficient, then work with Sony to figure out a way to run in the background. It would only need to download once until the driver gets in the car again, so it wouldn't run the battery dead.
