Back in the day, you would give your love interest a mix tape. 

Today, if we try and go big, you might get a personalized spotify playlist. Congrats. 

They say romance is dead. And though this i not entirely true, social media and doom scrolling has taken over. 

My idea origined, when I wanted to section a playlist into themes. Like:

My life: and then section it into childhood, teens, tweenties

or

Office: and section it into focus, meetings, boss energy, dinner event

Then i thought of records (for the record player), and how they are often two sided. 

Like, you know, five song on one side, five on the other. 

And i thought: How awesome would it be, if you could order customized records through spotify? That way, you can mix personal songs and get a personal record (while the artists and labels still get their money) 

A "modern" mix tape
