nonoverlapping songs in mix

Mix is a really cool feature, but I need more control to do simpler transitions. I should be able to drag the songs so that they don't overlap at all or overlap less than the full set of bars.  I'd even like to be able to add a bit of silence in between in some cases. 

An example.  I have two songs that I want to manage.  The first song has an extended outro I want to skip.  So I would drag it so that the fade out happens maybe 30s before the end of the song.  The second song has an abrupt start that will not overlap well at all with anything in the first song.  so I would want to have it not start until the other song is completely faded out. and maybe even with a second or two of silence in between.
