Artist authenticity.

I've searched through Spotify multiple times for a band named Tool. When i go to the "Tool" band, it is obviously someone else by the way the artist photo is and their music (having only three songs at that). And what disappointed me was that this band pretty much took the name, made terrible "music", and threw in a garbage picture for their cover photo. I grew up on bands such as Tool, Nirvana, Incubus, et cetera. I'd at least like the authenticity to stay the same.

The Tool you are looking for is not on Spotify.

Not every album or song is available on Spotify.

The availability of music on Spotify is up to the artist and their music label.
Spotify has no control over what content is available.

I understand that i will not find all of the artists but for someone to make a band and take the name is what I'd define as defiling. It would be like taking the name Disturbed and making it a pop-rock band. It's wrong to the original artists and an insult to what they've presented.
