Is anyone having problems with using the crossfade option in spotify with soundrop?

When using the crossfade function on the playback options soundrop seems to start to crossfade the songs and then give up and just restart the song? Anyone have any ideas?

@meahtenoha  I was just wondering what was going on at the transition from one track to the next -it kind of stutters before deciding to continue with the next track. It doesn't seem to like the gapless option either, had to remove it to get a smooth listening experience. The one annoying part of soundrop is when the current track isn't available for me in my region. "Silence is golden" does certainly not apply here!

Btw, I'd really like it if more users were hanging out here! (added the link to the room in my signature cos I'm so lonely here...) I almost always join this room when I'm in the community - hoping someone else will join. 🙂

So, if anyone is on tonight around 1030pm swedish time (22:30), I'll probably be there as well! A friendly invite to anyone who wants to listen together, chat about music or the community or anything really. I'll probably stay on for at least an hour.

Edit: BTW to follow the soundrop chat more easily, look just above the chat-column there are two speach-bubbles - click on them and you'll turn off/on other stuff rather than the chat-message.

Hey @Fred I'll jump in and see if I'm getting the same issue from one track to the next. 

I'm also getting the silence with tracks not available to me. As this is a third party app we'll need to contact Soundrop directly with some of these questions. 

Adding the room to your signature is a great idea! Ps I'm loving this track you added: Linus Young – Valentine

@meahtenoha  I found that track through the "New Music Tuesday" playlist. Yeah, I think it's a real good track.
