How to get followers?

So after being a spotify member for a year or so, and the option to follow users, artists, bands was added I was wondering if there is a way to gain more followers, it's easy for me to follow my friends and my favourite artists but not so easy to get followers. Anyone who know's any ways to gain followers please comment in this forum, thankyou.

              Better Call Saul Soundtrack

Hope you all remember Breaking Bad and how awesome it was! If you're a fan you surely do remember Vince Gilligan and his team choose the perfect soundtrack to the perfect TV show. So his new show Better Call Saul, which is a spin-off, prequel and sequel to Breaking Bad, is out now and as always he has delivered us with an awesome show and an awesome soundtrack. I've taken it upon myself to create a playlist to the soundtrack for the whole community to enjoy 😛 Hope you all enjoy it  Better Call Saul Soundtrack. I'll be updating it every episode.

hello 🙂 i've had spotify for a while now but it's pretty hard to get followers & find some new music that aren't too mainstream.

how does one get into the browse playlist genres such as pop,country,indi, etc? I was told by popularity but one can not gain popularity until one goes public in the browse playlist genres. Playlists are not made public either unless one is a tastemaker.
