Spacey Jane is an up-and-coming indie rock band from Western Australia. Their stuff is great. What's one of your favorite indie rock bands of current?

Hi,

I'm not at all Australian but I discoverd the Indie scene from there and it's aweseome.

I made a playlist with these bands.

Hey @FabienT, some great bands there! Violent Soho are a great live band, if you get the chance to see them, I strongly recommend it! Based on what you've got there I think you should check out Gang of Youths, another Aussie indie rock band if you haven't got onto them already. Thanks

Yes I would love to see them live, hope they'll tour in Europe one day.
Alright, thank you for the recommendation, i'll definitely check this out !

Definitely Catfish and the Bottlemen!

I would cry if they ever visited my country for a show. I made a playlist containing their best works in my opinion. So here's that.

I'm guessing that you probably already know about them, but I like an indie psychedelic rock band called King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, who are also from Australia. Here are a few of my favorite tracks of theirs:

I also really like some of the tracks from their album that they released last year, Infest The Rat’s Nest, though it's more like a thrash metal album than an indie rock album. Also, they just released a (mostly) live album on Saturday, Chunky Shrapnel, that I think is pretty good as well.

Hi,

Good one ! It makes me think of another Austalian band (that you maybe already know) called Psychedelic P*rn Crumpets. It's a really great band.
They have some "spacey" music.

But also some energic ones

Damn, Australia is a good place for music ahah.

Have a nice day

Went to Australia to go backpacking with a pretty generic music taste, left two years later totally taken by the indie/surf rock music. This playlist contains my every very favourite songs and is for 99% made up out of Australian artists I reckon ahah.
