Ever thought a song sounds warm? Or makes you feel red?
Do you see yellow as soon as your favorite album from high school starts playing?
There's a lot of ways to share, experience, describe and discover music. And we'd like to start a few threads focusing on Music & Color.
How does it work?
1. Think of a song that you would associate with the color yellow.
2. Right-click the song in Spotify and click 'Copy Spotify URI'
3. Click 'Insert/edit link' in a reply to this thread
4. Paste the URI
5. Click OK
6. Go to color-hex.com.
7. Find the perfect shade of yellow to match your song.
8. Copy the hex code and paste it below the song.
We'll then build an infographic that displays the songs and colors. It's an experiment for sure, but we're curious to see how this works with all your contributions.

A little darker, but makes you feel good. It's golden you know?

May also look like mustard, but "golden" is more poetic.

This is the perfect thread for me! I "see" colors in my brain when I hear certain songs, or think of certain events or people. I actually have a playlist for yellow songs already! The best example of a yellow song is spotify:track:0JGbwcwPV0VfuR4zDcZ9ce
hex code #e1de91
Some other yellow songs in my playlist (I won't attach the hex code but i'll do the songs):

I believe there is a term for when you see colors when hearing music- it's called synesthesia. Synesthesia refers to any of your senses being mixed up, for example seeing color with music or tasting things when you hear music. I think I have slight synesthesia. It makes things interesting for sure.
This is wicked! I have a form of synesthesia, the experience of feeling colour when I hear music or certain words so this is very familiar to me. I got sent here by @Jakespeed1 after he spotted my playlist Feels like the colour red. It's got songs on that I feel are red but does contain traces of yellow and orange.
Does anybody else on here experience colour and sound in harmony? Do you experience red in the way I do?
