Fun facts :

* The single was originally released in the UK on 5 October 1962.
* Love Me Do has reached #17 in the UK and became a #1 Top Hit in the US.
* The song was written by Paul Mc Cartney, when he was 16, and prior to the existence of the Beatles.
* Later on, the song has been credited to Lennon / McCartney, John playing the harmonica and duet vocals with Paul.
* Three different recorded versions of the song have been released, each with a different drummer.

 

* Version one (Anthology 1) : Pete Best (original member and first drummer of the Beatles, dismissed from the group in 1962) on drums.

Ahhh this is so cool! I had no idea that it was today. I live in Liverpool and I'm constantly surrounded by Beatles stuff... very cool.. thanks for posting this
