I think the silliest songs that I enjoy listening to are by the jam band Phish. Sometimes Phish are likened to the Grateful Dead because of their improvisational “jamming” style during live concerts. However, I think that these two bands sound quite different; and whereas the Grateful Dead typically don’t have “silly” lyrical themes, Phish’s lyrics are usually quite silly, which in my opinion makes listening to them a completely different experience. Perhaps the silliest songs that have found their way to my main playlist is a song about alpacas by Mr Weebl and Gehena's 'Laptop Battery'. The former is.. well, the video clip coming with the song is cool 😄 and the second one features a man ranting about his dead laptop battery and his struggles with that.
