Album reported for fake streams

A song & album i worked on had a song featured in a movie this year that went out to festivals including cannes & was shortlisted, As part of this we got some paid promotion to publicise the band & it's music. 

I received notice that the album was removed from streaming platforms due to fake streams. 

I understand whats happened, but what i want to know is there an appeal process, or what are the steps to get the music back on Spotify & other platforms without the paid promotion.
