The link didn't work for me...
Yooour list is great ! I haven't had the honor to listen to Les discretes but i have know that they are actually pretty cool, thank you for sharing your list
Hey @in-boil,
Give this a try, you might like:
@Jamie this evokes catherine wheel "Ferment" 🙂
and Venus in Cancer rocks. ,
I added these to list. thanx man.
Venus In Cancer is the first track I heard by them, it's fantastic 🙂
This Catherine Wheel song is perfect, thanks for introducing me to it.
I imagine you're already a fan of 4AD bands from this era, but if not...
correct guess 🙂 I've been a fan of 4AD since first time I searched the great ethereal band Dead Can Dance on Internet. Then: I
saw 4AD>Cocteau Twins>This Mortal Coil>Pixies>Mojave 3 >Blonde Redhead and finally became 4AD fan.
Do you like these ones, too?
I adore Dead Can Dance - my dad used to play them a lot.
This song never ceases to blow my mind:
Blonde Redhead are also incredible. My favourite Cocteau Twins album would have to be The Moon and The Melodies. I guess I need to check out Mojave 3, who are the only band of which I am unfamiliar with the music.
PS - @meahtenoha is very excited about seeing Pixies tomorrow in Stockholm.

I'm a massive Pixies fan. I cannot wait--ages ago I was given Dig For Fire for Christmas and fell in love.
Going throw in some shoegaze of a different era. How about this track from another 4AD band?
Oh me, me! I will give your playlist a spin and suggest something if I think it belongs. Thanks for this! You mentioned adding some post-black stuff. Have you considered Deafheaven?
Very appropriate pic, BTW. Who is that?
Great playlist!
I'll go ahead and recommend this song:
Also, have you heard of the band Hum? Some of their songs on their album You'd Prefer An Astronaut could be considered shoegaze.
Will definitely check it out when I'm in the mood for shoegaze...which is usually winter, oddly. I have really fond memories of walking to work at 5am in January, listening to MBV, Slowdive, and Catherine Wheel back in the day.
I took this photo at God Is An Astronaut concert. I added three of my favorite songs of them to the list.
very nice advice. added to the list.
Hey @in-boil noticed you didn't have any Whirr on the list--been listening to Sway quite a bit lately:
