Hi, I hope you're doing well. This isn't the first time that I have heard about this kind of problem, last week J0VANNA an artist that I helped to promote her music posted this on Threads:
"So, today should have been all about excitement for my new song's release, but instead, I got blindsided yesterday. My track 'Stupid Face' got removed from Spotify, and just like that, all my genuine effort and the organic streams I worked so hard for were wiped out. I've always avoided paying for playlist promo services because I know they're a total scam. Yet, somehow, these scammers still managed to drag me, you, and others into their schemes, getting our music caught in the crossfire.."

This is the song I'm talking about. Also, last week same thing happened with Jess Stewart I had the opportunity to ask her, and here is her reply: "I didn’t know it was a thing genuinely believed this playlist I was on was real streams and real people."

I would like to know what can be done to prevent this from happening. As an artist how can they know that your song was added to a botted playlist...and in case you find out this happened... what can they do to not get in trouble with Spotify? IMHO Spotify should punish the company (playlist) that is doing this instead of punishing the artists, don´t you think?
It's kind of unfair that your song gets removed and no appeal allowed. As a curator, I would like also to know if there's something we can do to prevent a bot from streaming our playlists, and if that happens what can we do?
I have been working on my playlists for over 7 years, growing slowly but constantly in an organic way, honestly, hard-working, and would be terrible to lose any of my playlists for a situation like this one. Also, I would love to know if there's something that you can do to help these artists.
