Spotify (and all the streaming services) should immediately post a message on their home pages for all listeners to read about how they can help artists. 

AND they should immediately add Tip Jars on artist pages. Can't be that hard. Or the simple solution is add a link to their websites, patreon pages, etc.   This is serious and threatening the livelihood of thousands of artists.  Fans need to be asked to help.

Thanks for helping but I think important to add a Tip Jar. This is wiping
out the incomes of every artist I listened to. And streaming, while
helping reach new audiences, has already made it difficult to make ends
meet.

It won't impact your income - you can do it for only paying subscribers.
