Spotify automatically generates a lot of playlists with songs made by women (or at least that aren't only made by men). You can find them by searching "A ♀Filter for <GENRE>", or if you can't type the '♀', by looking up "The Sound of <GENRE>" and clicking the '♀Filter' link in the playlist description.
For example, if I wanted to find female jazz rappers, I would look up "The Sound of Jazz Rap" and click '♀Filter' in the description. All of the larger genres and most of the middling genres have such playlists.
