New Shuffle Feature Counterintuitive

I’ve noticed that with the new shuffle feature, if I try and play a song in playlist “A” and then set the playlist to shuffle, if I then think to choose a different song in playlist “A” it resets the queue to play on the order I have playlist “A” sorted by, instead of continuing the shuffle the playlist. 

Just makes using the app feel like work, I have to reset my shuffle options every time I want to manually choose a song to play.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?
