Are there any songs that you like, which change quite apparently midway through the track? (The shift could be with respect to any music characteristic, such as rhythm, melody, harmony, timbre, tempo, time signature, etc.) Feel free to share!
One example that comes to mind from my listening is “Eta Carinae” by King Buffalo, which changes quite noticeably at 4:24 as the chugging, palm-muted guitar riff that characterizes the latter half of the track kicks in:

Cheers!
H. Grimace' Royal Hush caught me so off guard that I thought the player had glitched or mp3 was corrupted somehow. Took me a few listens to realise what had happened at 2:04. Listen from the start so you can get a good feel for the track. 😉

Thanks for sharing, @xeubrec; this is a great example! I was surprised as well by how the faster drum rhythms and guitar melodies suddenly change “Royal Hush” at 2:04, and I think that it sounds cool. Cheers!

Love the transition of this song at 2:30
Thanks for sharing, @StompingLlama! This is a great example as well; I like how "Don't Follow" changes as the drums join in and the harmonica playing becomes faster. Cheers!
