A very sad news has been reaching us this morning. Chris Cornell (1964-2017) left us this night at the age of 52.
Chris Cornell was an American musician, singer and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist, primary songwriter and rhythm guitarist for Seattle rock band Soundgarden and as lead vocalist and songwriter for the group Audioslave.

Indeed very sad new, I want to add a track of "Temple of the dog", a band of Cornell, which just existed one year:

A very talented artist with a unique voice. Back in the 90s I didn't quite realize how good he was, but now I rate him and Soundgarden up there with Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam.
It's pretty surprising and sad.
No mention or memorial anywhere on Spotify!!! WUWT
Where is the Chris Cornell Memorial Today?!
I have been and continue to be disappointed in Spotify's alternative, rock and metal representation. Its a great service so I deal with that instead of joining Itunes.
Not having a memorial or any mention of Chris Cornell's passing is a huge disrespect.
I hope to see Spotify represent and pay attention to the alternative, rock and metal genres in the future.
I feel terribly sad for what happened to Chris Cornell. His voice has been in the soundtrack of my life since being a kid so this affected me deeply. I still don't understand what happened because he wasn't having the problems like Weiland,Staley and even Cobain had in the past. He had a completely recovery since early 2000's so this was so unexpected. His legacy will always endure as he represented the voice of at least 2 generations and I'm sure he will be remembered forever.
