The song 'One dance' from the album "views" by the Canadian artist Drake and in collaboration with Kyla and Wizkid was the most listened track of the summer of 2016 having an international success and reaching number one for 15 consecutive weeks in the UK so I think it shouldn't be forgotten.
I think it was so successful because it doesn't use the typical structure, it mixes African rhythms, British funk, Dancehall, Afrobeat.... It also has a short duration and a very catchy rhythm which made it very successful.

As for the lyrics, in typical Drake style, 'One Dance' is a song about relationships, love. What makes it different is the funky pop melody in the background.

Hopefully he will soon release another hit that will break the record of 15 consecutive weeks.
