I have the opportunity to chat with Domenico "Mimmo" Ripa one of the two founder members of Bursting Wonderland (the other founder member is Ania Chmielewska vocals and lyrics) and share with me the backstory for this track that I want to share with you here:

"One the songs first written from Ania it was"In memory of", dedicated fo her grand-ma. She was hit by the story of her lost love, the true first love that she had to let go that cold winter night long time ago in Poland. It was a forbidden kinda relation, and an unwelcoming blessing my their parents till they decided to run away one night.. That night i was just saying about it. He, John his name got sick, and tired, till contracting pneumonia that killed it, abandoning Maria(Ania's grandmother) alone and for ever. She eventually got married and lived a long life but she could never forget all this and most of all, forgetting Him. This is a story that Maria narrated on deathbed to Ania and her mother, and that she felt inspired to write a tribute.
From this Mimmo created the music trying to picture those feelings, that drama, that love the destiny."
