Community Ranks - How do they work?

So you discover the Spotify Community, start reading a bit and then you see it: all these username with different colors and ranks and they make no sense whatsoever. (Or maybe they do, in which case you can skip this post).

Lots, if not all, forums, have some form of hierarchy, or ranking system. These systems exist because everyone can quickly get some idea of who this person is, posting on the forum. Someone could be a new visitor or a regular member, maybe even a VIP.

Below you can see the different ranks and how they increase. These were recently updated in January 2018 so if you have a new rank name, that's perfectly normal.

Would you like to get a higher rank and you don't know how? Well, the formula may be a tightly kept secret, but basically doing these things can help you move up in the Spotify Community:

- posting and replying

- adding helpful tags to your and others' posts and ideas

- giving and receiving "Likes" on helpful posts and good ideas

- posting ideas in the Idea Exchange

- being a nice person

And here they are, all the ranks in one place (high to low):

Top Star
These are our top super users, our Rock Star leaders
 Rock Star
These are our super users
Rising Star
First rank in the RSP. Rising Stars are on their way to becoming Rock Stars
Composer You've earned a new rank
Songwriter You've earned a new rank
Roadie Now you can post messages without CAPTCHA verification
Gig Goer Now you can send private messages.
Music Fan Now you can have a Community Signature, you're eligilbe for the Rock Star Program.
Regular You've earned a new rank.
Casual Listener
Now you can choose your Community Avatar.
Newbie Welcome to the Spotify Community. You can now post in topics and ideas.

If you'd like to rank up past Roadie you'll need to be a part of our Rock Star Program

Users need to post 10 times to become a part of the RSP. Check out the Rock Star Program page for more details.

Is community veteran acheiveable now, or is it still limited? This thread makes it seem achievable ;)

Also, you should mention solutions in the OP :)

Veterans are still what we previously called Founders; which means these ranks are inherited by a select few who were here already a loooong time ago.
