ASUS ScreenPad Spotify App Missing

My Question or Issue

The application is not available to download in the Microsoft Store.  ASUS states they are "working" with Microsoft to get the link live.  Microsoft was useless when I contacted them.  It's been going on for almost a month now and I'm rather disappointed it's unavailable to install on the device as it's a well advertised feature.

Bought the laptop from Best Buy and it came without this application preloaded onto the laptop.

The said link in question that shows the application is no longer available.  Perhaps someone from Spotify can get this application up for download as the Screen Pad is awesome and having this available would be great!  Thanks!

Hey folks,

We've checked with the right teams here, and we're afraid this isn't something we're able to help with from our end.

We're sorry for any confusion caused!

If you have further questions, we'd recommend reaching back out to the good folks at ASUS. Hopefully they'll be able to lend a hand more.

Many thanks!

Week later any update guys?

This is a silly problem with a very simple solution...

1.) Offer the application outside the MS Store

2.) Get them to stop dragging their feet and make the application available.

I have the same problem, I've tried contacting Microsoft store, ASUS and they both said that the problem was on Spotify's half. it asks for a code on 25 digits, when you try to download it,"xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx" . I think the problem would be resolved if you published the code.

My Question or Issue

I brought my computer 4 months ago, and ever since I made a clean installation of windows I couldn't get the "Spotify screenpad App" from the Microsoft store. It only became available a month ago, and finally, when it shows in the store it asks for a 25 digit code. I've tried contacting ASUS support and Microsoft store, but they both told me the fault is on Spotify's half. So i'm asking if you could provide the code in this topic or release the version without a code. have been waiting in 4 months.

Hi, I had the same problem but I fixed it with this method:

Use Adgueard to get the download links from Microsoft store

https://store.rg-adguard.net/

Paste the link to the Spotify screenpad app:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/screenpad-spotify/9pg2r9lms7x7 and press the "V"button right of the just pasted link

Download the xxx.appx file*

Now set Windows to developer mode (settings-> settings for developers-> Devloper mode

After this (takes a while) doubble click the downloaded xxx.appx* file and you're done

* Fullname is B9ECED6F.ScreenPadSpotify_2.0.1.0_x64__qmba6cd70vzyy.appx
