[Accounts] Link missing in email change confirmation email

From my perspective this is more of a bug report but I did not find a better way to report it.

 

I was inquired to verify my account and got a verification mail apparently without any link as the button seemed to be ommited by my browser / webclient (horde) / whatever. It worked as I opened the html separately, but this was really confusing to me. You may consider also including a less fancy verification link in the verification mails.

This is still not solved. There are multiple topics adressing this, and I also contacted Support who told me to go here.

 

The problem me and other users are having is:

When we go to https://developer.spotify.com/dashboard , we see the following message:

 

You need to verify your email address before you can create an app. Add email address

You can create apps after verifying your e-mail address.
 
But the problem is: There is no such button.
I even tried updating / changing my e-mail to another one, but the link for this new e-mail, to confirm it, did'nt arrived (So it was'nt even sent by Spotify Server Side). PS: I double checked spam, junks, etc.
 
To clear it out, this is still an issue.

I even tried for a couple of hours on two chats on support to ask them to escalate this. But the chat kept disconnecting so I gave up there.

Hi,

 

I have also problem with updating email with web browser. I was able to update email on android spotify app, but I could not get the email updated on browser. It threw somekind of common error message on ui. I used dev tools to check what the server responses and the error code was: 400. I can not remember the message from server response, but it was missing something. The ui did not have any input for the missing information.
