Add Hulu to Your Spotify

I just renewed my premium account but this time with student offer option. I got a message: "Add hulu to your spotify. Now included with spotify premium for students, at no extra fee" and when I click on learn more, I got the message that "It appears that you are not eligible for the discounted product that you are trying to purchase. If you'd like you can still upgrade you account to premium at any time." But I have already upgraded!:D. What am I exactly suppose to do?

Welcome to the Community. We're glad to see that you're joining the band.

Just to confirm, is your account already subscribed to the student discount? If so, you shouldn't have any inconveniences to activate the offer. If not, you'll need to wait until your account is verified for the discount before you subscribe to the offer. Also, if you already have a Hulu subscription other than Limited Commercials (full price Hulu or addons such as HBO & Showtime), you're not eligible for the offer and you'll need to cancel your Hulu subscription before subscribing to the offer.

I just had this fixed by hulu, they removed my current hulu subscription and I was able to merge the accounts after. I hope this works for you!

Hi everyone. Thanks for your help and comments. Actually I went through the link like before and this time it worked with no error. I had a subscription at the time of attempt, but however my assumption is that because I was a new premium member maybe the system could not see me as a premium immediately

When I try to sign up for hulu through my account it says my email already has an account through hulu. Does this mean I can't get this bundle?

I'm not a student and pay the full amount for the premium account.

Any reason why premium accounts are not receiving this bundle?

In theory this is an excellent idea but...  Why exclude an option for those of us with a "no commercial" Hulu account?  Avoiding commercials is dang near the point of streaming in the first place.  At least my number one reason. 

You guys seem to arbitrarily restrict annoying things. 

Not being able to add a family member who is currently under another roof.  Not allowing offline music to be cast to another device (this one will make me quit altogether if I can't figure out how to get Knopflers Privateering album to my sound system).  And now this new one with Hulu. 

Multiple arbitrary, illogical, and pointless restrictions seems like an excellent way to drive away customers.  You know, assuming that's your inention.
