@Yordan my phone (android 11), is using the same Spotify version as my tablet (android 6), but as I mentioned, only my tablet is having this issue.
Both are on Spotify 8.7.72.546
Taking a quick look through the comments I've noticed that all 3 of the users who are replying to you with this issue are using devices with Android 6.0.1 , maybe that's where the problem is?
exact same problem with sons spotify on his old Samsung S5, started on thursday evening.
Playlists work fine, and songs still play etc. but he cant access albums for some bizarre reason.
Tried clearing caches, reinstalling the app to the latest version, restarting the phone - even did a factory reset of the phone itself, nothing seems to fix it.
Samsung S5, also on android version 6.0.1, the common theme here
Hi, I have the same issue. I've tried the solution you proposed, without success.
I have a LG G4 running Android 6.0. I'm using Spotify 8.7.72.546.
My partner doesn't have that problem, she can load albums without issues. She has an OPPO A9 2020 running Android 11. She's using the same version of Spotify as I do.
Hello, I use android 5.0 lollipop in one device only to listen spotify and I can't see albuns, only black. I made a clean install and all sugestions and no improvement. I installed spotify in another devide with lollipop and had same problem. In my cellular that is new I can see albums. It started with actualization in 4/10/2022. Thank you.
Verified issue on two phones, same model, second phone was a new install of Spotify. First phone had a reinstall of Spotify, reboot as instructed above. Issue persists.
