Always play on device option for mobile app

I keep a iPod touch in my car connected to my deck with Spotify so that I always have music ready to go since the radio is so annoying. It has wifi on so I can add music to my car playlist from the computer and have it update so my playlist is always up to date. Now comes the problem. I got an Echo recently that I listen to in the morning when getting ready. Works great, but when I hop in the car to leave my iPod is attached to my home network still so when the car starts and Spotify resumes it starts playing on my Echo instead of the device. So for the first 10 seconds I drive in silence until I get out of reach of the wifi and Spotify goes to playing on the device instead. Another problem is ocasionally due to the magic of iOS the music app will fire up and take over instead of Spotify resuming. I keep the iPod in my center console (hidden wires are awesome) so it is a pain to correct since I have to pull over. When I am in offline mode this is never an issue and works like it should, but I can't update my playlist automatically. So if there was an option in the app for moble version to always play on device I think that would solve my problem. Prior to getting the Echo I didn't have this problem becuase I would close out of Spotify on my computer when leaving.

That's not cool. Could you let us know step by step what's going on exactly? In the meantime, try reinstalling the app on your device and let us know if it makes a difference.
