for a few days now I have very annoying, stuttering playback with Spotify on my Amazon Echo devices (Echo & Echo dot).

This only happens with Spotify. All other audio streaming and radio apps work fine.
Please fix this asap - Spotify has become totally unusable for me 😞 😞 😞

Really annoying. Fundamental problem and it still persists. Spotify totally unusable for me at home.
Ok now everything works fine again.
I didn‘t change anything, so Spotify/Amazon must have figured it out.

Suddenly everything indeed started working again, so no more issues :).
The problem is back, but this time no stuttering rather sudden playback pausing for less than one second, but repeating multiple times each minute.
That doesn't sound good @mstnkl.
Can you try reinstalling the Spotify app and the Alexa app on your devices? After that, try resyncing your Spotify account again with your Amazon devices.

Sorry but your suggestions don‘t make much sense.
Music still cuts out a couple of times each hour. This never happens on my computer/smartphone. Only on Echo devices.
This is a problem that needs to be fixed by Spotify. As an end user I cannot fix this.
As the amount of cutting out has reduced compared to last week, Spotify/Amazon mist have changed something. Which is fine, but apparently not enough.
No worries. To make sure this isn't related to your internet connection, please try turning your router off for 30 seconds and turn it back on before casting to your Amazon Echo again.
Also, try removing the Spotify app as the default music service from the Alexa app, and link it again following these steps.
