It sounds like you might have linked the wrong account to your Amazon Echo Dot. Could you try following the steps on our Support site to unlink your account and link it again?
As long as you're logging in with your Premium account, you should be able to access your Premium features.
If you're currently logging in with a second account, then we'd recommend reaching out to our Customer Support team through the contact form. They should be able to help you close one of your accounts and move your playlsits, saved music, and followers over to the Premium account.
