I am anxiously awaiting a fix for this same problem. On a Xiaomi Redmi 6 phone.

Fellows, there are plenty of applications working fine with MIUI 10.4.4. My solution was moving to T****. They have three dot button too :D and it's working correctly. So far no regrets. Good luck and goodbye, Spotify.

Exact same phone and problem... A **bleep**ing year later, what an active support center (maybe rude but jezus it's getting really annoying, already been having the problem for a year)

This issue continues to rack up votes all the while Spotify say absolutely nothing with regards to progress. This is unbelievably pathetic on Spotify's part.

Having the same problem at this moment on my device Xiaomi. Spotify is updated version: 8.5.33.831 and uninstall and install doesn't solve the problem.

Hey @ntnkakaroto!
For some reason the MIUI 11 (who solves that problem) still not arrived in
Brazil in the Redmi 6 series :\

Neither in Poland and certainly many other countries. But who cares in Spotify?

Unfortunately the MIUI 11 update probably won't fix it for you if your phone is the Redmi 6.

I have a Redmi 6 with MIUI 11, and the three dot problem still exists. This "fix" only works for Redmi 8 Pro.

My phone is a Redmi 6A and I live in Brazil as well, with no automatic update to MIUI 11 so far. However, to test if it could solve the problem, I force updated to 11 and still not working.
