Android Auto - Spotify doesn't play offline

Android Auto suddenly is unable to play music in offline mode. Started after last Spotify update. The only way to display tracks that have been downloaded is to use cellular data (which it wouldn't supposed to be needed). Reinstalled both android auto and Spotify and also cleared cache. Nothing worked. Can anyone help?

Same issue.  Even if I get Spotify to play something through the phone's lock screen while it is connected to the car, Spotify's Android Auto interface still acts as if nothing is available.

Same issue, so here's my information concerning the issue:

• Pixel 2, Android version 9, Dec 5, 2018 patch
• Spotify version - 8.4.84.874 (current)
• Android Auto version: 3.8.584564-release

Unfortunately, coverage in our area is poor so downloaded music is the best option.

Additionally, I'm not allowed to download APPs outside of the Google Play store, so going to an old version is out of the question. 

Additionally, it doesn't work on the Pixel 2XL, or Pixel 3XL. (All running the same versions above).

Same issue, it's been about three weeks for me. If I can't access Spotify completely when it's offline, l will look for other apps. It might pick up a song but then l am unable to choose another song,  can't access playlists or songs.  Please fix this.

After I updated to the newest app version, still no function with Android Car in Offline mode.
