[Android][Bluetooth] Metadata is not transmitted

Description:

When using Spotify on an Android device to play over bluetooth, some third-party devices don't receive metada (track, artist, album info, etc. is not displayed on third-party device)

Additional information:

We're collecting information about which specific devices are not receiving metadata. If your device is affected, please reply and provide as much information as possible.

Music plays on my stereo, but no metadata is displayed and the stereo thinks the phone is always stopped.  Next/Prev track seem to work, but I have no way of pausing the playback.  Other apps I've tested (Google Play Music, Poweramp, Pandora) all work fine.

Just came over from iPhone 4s. Everything worked fine there. 

Also, was able to use iPhone to stream Spotify directly to Denon DSD-500. Spotify on Android cannot.

Google Play Music shows Metadata correctly, but Spotify never does.

Actual Spotify music quality through the Bluetooth connection is superb!  Better than through the Aux In.

And remote controls (FF, RW, ...) work correctly and quickly.

Device:

• Pebble smartwatch: main app - no track info; lockscreen or when the app is in the background (track info appears in notification bar): updates, BUT *very* sporadically.
• Observation: While on lockscreen, when skipping to next/previous track - track info remains from last played track (on smartphone display). Pressing pause/play or sleep/wake on the phone/Pebble updates the track info.

Artist, track, album name and artwork do not show on my 2014 tundra when using the Spotify app over bluetooth.
