[Android][Bluetooth] Metadata is not transmitted

Description:

When using Spotify on an Android device to play over bluetooth, some third-party devices don't receive metada (track, artist, album info, etc. is not displayed on third-party device)

Additional information:

We're collecting information about which specific devices are not receiving metadata. If your device is affected, please reply and provide as much information as possible.

This is happening for me. 

Android 11

Nokia 5.4

Spotify 8.6.72.1121

The metadata works for the first song or two then never updates again. Has happened in my 2015 Toyota Rav4 and in a 2020 Chevy Suburban

I have deleted the app and reinstalled and it fixed it for about an hour then reverted and I have factory reset the phone and it still happens.

Been pulling my hair out trying to figure out the cause of my artist and song information not changing when it transitions to the next track. Reset my phone, reset both the Bluetooth on my phone and car. Uninstalled and reinstalled spotify. It will work at most for two songs and then freeze. Thought it was my phone but now see it is a problem with many others as well. It would be nice to hear a solution for this.

Spotify latest

The metadata (artist, name of song etc.) is not transmitted from Spotify to the car's multimedia system.
