[Android] Downloaded albums don't show first tracks in Offline mode

Hey folks,

 

We're seeing reports that downloaded albums on the Android app are shown only partially when the app is set to offline. This doesn't seem to be affecting playlists or the same albums, when the app is online.

- Galaxy S10e 

- Android version 11 

- Spotify is latest version, always updated. 

 

Issue started happening about 2 weeks ago. Podcasts do not load offline. And any offline albums do not show all the songs, maybe 3 out of 10 songs or so. Have tried reinstalling app and restarting phone. 

 

If I switch to online I can see all songs downloaded. I can click play on first one, switch to offline and then they all disappeared. But it will still play the songs in order in the album. Sometimes it fails.

I actually don't like Spotify. Think I might cancel my subscription. Anyone recommend another service that actually works more than 50% of the time?

Do we have a fix yet? I know the music is all there (but hidden) but this is not how it is supposed to be.

I have the same issue as mentionned above, can't listen to the albums entirely because the first tracks are not shown.

I've had the problem for 2 weeks. I've done a clean reinstall and cleared the cache and everything and I'm still having the same issue.

I have the exact same problem, I've tried logging out and then in, doing a phone restart, uninstalling the app. What's weird is that Spotify Lite works perfectly fine but the normal Spotify app is broken. There's also no available updates for me on the Play Store if that were even an option.
