[Android] Downloaded albums don't show first tracks in Offline mode

Hey folks,

We're seeing reports that downloaded albums on the Android app are shown only partially when the app is set to offline. This doesn't seem to be affecting playlists or the same albums, when the app is online.

If you're experiencing this issue, make sure to subscribe to this thread! We'll be keeping everyone up to speed here.

Hey folks,

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

We’re happy to say that this should now be fixed for everyone! Just make sure your app is updated to the latest version.

If you're still having trouble, make sure to post a new thread in the relevant help board here.

Thanks!

My Question or Issue

While im in offline mode, parts of my downloaded albums disappear or the whole screen getrs glitched (see pics), but i cant still play all the songs so its a visual problem. As soon as I have internet again it looks normal again. I tried clean Installations and different accounts and it didnt help. It works on the IPhone 7+ tho so it might be an Android only problem

I have this same problem on 2 android devices. The songs are actually there but they are hidden behind the album cover. If I click in the space where the album cover is, near the top, the first tracks play. The tracks that you have showing are probably the last songs on the album, so they show up under the album cover. This just started happening for me this week. Same as you, I’ve tried reinstalling etc. But nothing fixed it so far.

Yes! The exact same thing is happening to me and it's pretty annoying. It used to work just fine before the last update. Also it seems the triple dot menu of the album is completely missing when in offline mode, e.g., I can't add the whole album to a playlist.

Just noticed the 3-dot menu is missing on albums for me in offline mode too.

My Issue:

Every time I turn off the Internet, in the downloaded albums either not all tracks are shown, or there are no tracks at all.

As an example, I show a screenshot of an album with and without the Internet:

I’m having this issue and other people are too - see the link I attached.  For me, the songs are there, but they’re hidden behind the album cover. Orion and Damage Inc. are the last songs in the tracklist, that’s why you can see them. If you click up in the album cover area, near the top, the earlier songs should start playing. It’s a problem with the user interface on android that just started happening. Mine worked fine in offline mode until yesterday. They need to fix the way albums are displayed in offline mode.

If you’re having the same problem I am, the albums that show no songs are actually albums with less songs. If there’s only like 5 tracks on the album then they’re all hidden behind the cover. If you click up near the top in the album cover area they start playing. It’s a problem with the display.

I seem to be experiencing the same issues
