[Android] Downloaded podcasts don't show up in Offline Mode

We're seeing reports that downloaded podcasts don't load in Offline Mode

 

The relevant team is aware of this and they are currently looking into it.

We appreciate the recent comments confirming that things seem to be up and running again.

If you are still experiencing this issue, we'd recommend making sure your device and operating system are up-to-date, as well as giving your Spotify a refresh 🙂

Thanks - yes it's a Pixel 4a running android 11.

Seems to be broken again. I save podcasts to my episodes but when I'm out at work offline it says I must go online to listen. 🤕

Thanks for getting back to us with this info.

 

Looks like there is a more recent app version available. Would you mind updating it and letting us know if this behavior continues?

I just got back online after about two weeks offline. The whole time I could not load episodes via their podcast page nor the Your Episodes playlist. See @jazdoogle screenshots above. That is exactly how mine behaved. Fortunately my hack worked so I was able to enjoy my podcasts. 

I just installed the latest version and did a quick airplane mode test so far the podcast pages load which happened last time I tested a 'fixed' version from Spotify. Once I was offline longer than a few hours the pages stopped loading.

I am going offline yet again for two days I will let you know if this new version has corrected the issue.

Can you make sure to update the app and let us know if this behavior persists? If it keeps loading, try restarting the app and let us know if this does the trick.
