[Android] Sharing to Instagram Stories doesn't work

My Question or Issue

I didn't have any issues with sharing songs to Instagram story untill today, when I press share to story it seems like instagram opens up for awhile and disappears. If I press again I get a popup from my phone saying Instagram keeps stopping. 

I've tried reinstalling Instagram, still having same issue.

It started to happen yesterday(12.06.19). Everytime I try to share the musics on Spotify to my IG Story, my Instagram will crash and shows up "Instagram keeps crashing" and I've tried every method trying to fix it myself e.g. restart myphone, clear cache of Spotify and Instagram or reinstall them, but It doesn't work at all. Please response and fix it out as soon as possible.

I've been experiencing a similar problem for a few hours now. When i try to share, the screen goes white and takes me back to spotify.

Couldnt connect when post songs to instastories, screen went freeze after I hit share to instastories button

Hi, I've seen a lot of people post about a similar issue (that they don't have the option to post to instagram stories) but the difference for me is that I did have the option for the past year and it was working fine until today. It was taking me to Instagram stories as usual but the music info/content was missing - the screen was showing blank. I came to the forum to troubleshoot and followed recommended steps...delete both caches, reinstall both apps etc. When I did all of that, the option to share to Instagram Stories completly disappeared!! Only Direct sharing is available. Plus Facebook and other apps. 

I saw a generic post about Spotify constantly testing features and them being available to some but not others. But this doesn't explain why a working feature would disappear for a user. 

Are you removing this feature once and for all? I really liked it and would like it back please. All my friends are sharing music as usual and now I can't. Is there any way to roll back an App update?

As of yesterday (December 11th) I have been trying to share songs to my Instagram story, but without any luck. Instagram opens the story section, however it is black and blank.

• device + OS version
• exact Spotify version
• exact Instagram version
• a screenshot showing that you have the option to share to Instagram Stories in Spotify?

I have the same problem. I've been sharing Spotify songs to Insta stories for months. All of a sudden, today it doesn't work. I can't share any song or playlist, artist etc to Insta. I have the Share to Instagram Stories option. When I select it, it tries to open Inatagram. However, instead of the usual image w song icon, it opens the Instagram Stories in Camera Mode ONLY. There's no way to see or share the song.
