[Android] Unable to play music, all playlists appear empty

We've received reports from Android users that they're unable to play songs from Search. In addition, all playlists in the app appear empty. This is currently being investigated.

Thank you for your patience and input so far.

 

We're setting this issue to Not Right Now since we're unable to provide an exact timeline for a fix at this moment. However, rest assured this will remain on our internal teams' radar and we'll check back in here with a new status when we have any new information to share.

 

In the meantime, it's recommended you keep the app up to date so that you're always running the latest version of Spotify.

Hello Oscar, the clear Reinstall doesnt Work. I Tried it on another Phone.

The Information about the other Phone:

-OnePlus Nord CE 5G

Android 13

Oxygen OS 13

Spotify Version 8.9.52.552

It worked without Big Problems. (A Bit slow but nothing more)

 

My Phone where IT doesn't Work:

-Red Magic 7 Pro

RedMagic OS 6.0 (Android 13)

Spotify Version 8.9.56.618

@Yordan I'm facing the same issue

All my playlist are showing empty and I'm unable to play songs. I've been facing this problem from 3 4 day's and it's really frustrating. Please give me a solution to this

My liked songs have disappeared even though i can see the total nomber of them. the app was going absolutely slow for months now, barely usable as it took up to a minute to change songs or pause a song. A week ago as I was kicked out of my family plan and for some reason all my songs disappeared. I cannot access any kind of music on the app. The app has become of no use on my phone since i cannot see any songs in it. I have tried many re installs it doesnt fix the problem.

I think I've found the solution. It seems to be a weird version of your account getting locked out due to your 14 day region timer running out. If you switch your region back to where you currently are, it should be fine.
