[Android] View Album, View Artist, Go to Song Radio grayed out

Device: OnePlus 5T

OS: Oreo 8.1

Spotify: 8.4.71.762 (also happened in previous verions)

The issue is that at random times those three options are just grayed out. There's no problem with the internet connection because I can listen to music and browse my library. I also saw that while those options are grayed out the search functionality also showed that I'm offline. The workaround to fix this is to close the app from Recent Apps or Force Close it and then reopen.

Whether this issue is connected/related to the search also showing as offline is yet to be determined.

Same issue happening on Samsung S6. Recently upgraded my phone to Pixel 2 XL running Android Pie and same thing happened again. I did also notice an alert about Spotify thinking it's offline when the phone is connected to the Internet.

We'll be closing this for now since this is similar to this issue that we're currently investigating. We'd recommend heading there instead and +VOTE.

However, from the description and the screenshots it looks like some functionalities of the app appear as if it's offline when it isn't. With this, we'd recommend heading to the issue linked above and staying tuned for any updates there as our tech folks are currently working on this.
