My Question or Issue

 

Hello my friends,

 

I have been having issues with the Spotify app on my Android devices since the last update (currently two hours ago). It crashes every time you open the app after 15 to 30 seconds. Since I'm experiencing this issue on two devices, I think I'm not the only one with this issue. Can you please fix it?

 

Update: It has been fixed! I'm not having issues on the 8.4.77 update. Thanks Spotify!

Hey all,

 

Spotify version 8.4.77 has been rolled out and this should have resolved this issue. Try to do a quick reinstallation to be on the safe side, instructions on how to do this can be found here.

Getting the same now on Samsung Tab 4 with Android 4.4.2 ... app stops after 10-15 seconds. Sigh.

Hi, I'm having a similar problem with my Spotify, everytime I open the app I can either brouse through my playlist or listen to a song for 30 seconds max and then the app stops and closes. I've already tried reinstalling it twice, tried to clean some playlists to see if it was a storage problem, and tried to log out and in the account as well, and nothing helped. I don't know what else to do, and honestly it's starting to **bleep** me off, because I really love listening to my music and not being able to is driving me insane. Please help, thanks 🙂

Hi

Having same Issue last couple of days whilst playing music App suddenly Stops working HELP!!

Can anyone tell me if you uninstall App Do you lose ur playlists?? Will they Still be there if App is Reinstalled Plz

I started having this issue around 15-30 minutes ago, the app was working just fine for hours and suddenly it wasn't. I already cleaned cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, forced the app to close, rebooted my phone but every 30 sec or so the app closes by itself. My phone is a Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, with Android 10 KQK and MIUI 12.0.4, there's no update for my phone nor the app, currently on 8.7.24.1111 version. Please help.
