Audio quality / Sound volume issues on Playstation 5 App

Hey folks!

We're aware of volume issues with the Spotify app on PS5 after a recent update, mainly that the volume output is too low. This is currently being investigated.

Thank you for your patience and input so far.

 

We're setting this issue to Not Right Now as we're unable to provide an exact timeline for a fix at this moment. However, rest assured this will remain on our internal teams' radar and we'll check back in here with a new status when we have any new information to share.

 

In the meantime, make sure to always keep the app up to date.

This new update has lowered the general sound of the songs when they're being played at max volume..

I believe many people have complained about it being "too" loud and couldn't hear the game's sound.

But I myself and many others don't enjoy this volume change!

I think some sort of option should be made where we can "Enable" or "Disable" this volume change.

Very funny guys, we already have this issue on PS5 but at least PS4 version was working normally, then you launch the update 3.90 on PS4 version that completely mess the volume and quality, please fix these issues...

Any updates to this issue? Been having this issue with the ps5 version of Spotify. It works fine on any other platform I have Spotify installed on.

Using Spotify on PS5 is such a hassle because of this issue, I have to turn up my general volume and lower my games, sometimes to a ridiculous degree like having the master volume of a game at 2/10 while Spotify is all the way up.

Add in voice chat with friends and now I'm messing with three separate volume outputs and the balance just to be able to hear my music, how is this something you haven't fixed yet?

PS5 volume is still way too low. How is this not fixed yet? Only since the "PS5" app version came that this issue started. Any news on when it will be resolved?
