[BUG][ANDROID]Storage usage reported incorrectly

I am having exactly the same issue as that was originally reported here

Have spotify cache installed to the SD card that is in the phone and spotify is reporting it to internal memory as well as SD card for downloaded data.

I have tried to formatting the SD (it's new), reinstalling, only downloading extreme quality, none of which fixes the issue.

This is before downloading any music

Hey folks,

Thanks for the reports.

We don't have a time frame for a fix, but we can confirm the tech team are looking into this. Hopefully we'll have an update for you all soon.

Been tracking this for some time now as I continue to deal with the impact of this bug on my Samsung j5.

Rather than get the stock 'bot' response from Spotify, I'd like a formal acknowledgement as a paying customer that this bug has been reproduced in the year or more since being reported and that the 'right' team now accept this is a bug impacting many paying customers? From there, we can at least have a sensible discussion about resolution status and prioritisation.

As an ex developer, this seems like a fairly basic error in design /configuration of the Spotify android app which should be resolvable in a fairly short time, but this chain (and others online) suggest little effort on Spotify's side to actually acknowledge or address the issue. Luke
