Bluetooth play/pause button not working for several weeks now!

The Bluetooth play/pause button does not work (after a few minutes) for several weeks now! Many different Bluetooth headsets and smartwatches are affected (see conversations)!

Please fix very soon - it's really annoying not to be able to play/pause the music with Bluetooth devices.


Reinstallation of the app didn't work!

Can you try the steps here for us? They should help with this. Also, unpairing your Bluetooth devices and then pairing them again could help.

a new installation and new pairing of my bluetooth-devices did not help. The problem still persists for several months now, even in version 😞


A voucher for a free month subscription would be appropriate from Spotify's side for the inconvenience.

I contacted Spotify by your linked email but only got a reply how to connect devices with Spotify Connect, what is not the issue here.
