Can't add songs to collaborative playlists on Spotify Web Player since a recent update - unless I'm missing it somehow. Either way not obvious at all. Can still do it on phone. Seems an incredibly basic thing to overlook in an update.
Thanks for reaching out to us on the Spotify Community. We hope you're well 🙂
There's recently been an update, and a few changes have been made to the web player. The team here are still working hard on things, so we appreciate your feedback on this. We'll pass this directly on.

Hopefully this gets resolved. I don't want the bloated app on my phone or on my desktop. I already have a media manager (MediaMonkey) that I use for music. I thought I was doing something wrong.
There are people (such as myself) that cannot use the Spotify desktop app due to workplace restrictions. The inability to use collaborative playlists in these situations is a huge issue and needs to be fixed.

You can still use this feature on the app in the meantime, just check out: https://support.spotify.com/using_spotify/playlists/create-playlists-with-your-friends/.
Let us know if there's any other questions 🙂
Best,
