Can't add to queue or remove from queue when using Connect

When I use my ipad or iphone to stream from, then i can't edit the queue using the desktop to edit quene on my phone or ipad.

It worked fine before last ios update, so something happen with the new update 8.4.66.519

Does this happen while both devices are on the same WiFi network? Does restarting the app on your phone make a difference?

Yes it is on the same wifi network, I have tried deleting the app and downloade it again both on my iphone, ipad & pc.

 

but it don't work..

Are you trying to add/remove songs to the queue while using the Connect feature?

If so, then this is an issue that we have told our tech folks about. We're just waiting on a few more people to verify that they are experiencing the same issue.

 

If it's not related to Connect, get back to us and we'll help troubleshoot further.

Yes it is when I stream from my iphone, that I can't use my pc by connect feature to control my queue (add/remove) on my iphone.

Now it is two week since I last was able to do so, it worked fine on 8.4.65 iOS.

Same issue happening here. 

I am listening to music from my iPhone (using Spotify connect) and up until 3 weeks ago I would connect in my computer and queue the songs / change the order from there, now I can't do either

 

This functionality is the reason why I use Spotify because I cannot posibly go to my cell phone every time I need to queue songs or change the order. 

 

I've been using the web player ever since but it is very limited because even if I can add items to the queue, I cannot change the order

 

Why did this stop working ??

If you have the same issue, make sure to click the +VOTE button on the right. You can also try the following steps:

  1. A clean reinstall of the app on your device.
  2. Log out and back in
  3. Restarting your device
  4. Restarted your router if you are on a WiFi connection. You can also try switching your network connection (eg. from 3G/4G to a WiFi connection)
  5. Check if the issue persists in a different device 

If the above don't help, let us know the following:

  • Your device
  • Your device's OS
  • The version of the Spotify app on your device
