Hi guys, I've just updated the app and now I can't sign in onto Spotify. It tells me I need to go turn my spotify online to connect, but I can't log in to turn it online! Help! #Withdrawls...

I've passed your report on to the right folks, and they're looking into finding a fix for this. I don't have a timeframe for a fix, but hopefully there will be an update soon.
In the meantime, there's a workaround for this issue.
When you get the Please go online to connect to Spotify, just hit cancel > delete password > re-enter pw > log in.
You should be able to get back in this way, without having to reinstall the app.

Mine is doing that same thing too! Grrr! Round and round in circles!
My account won't let me sign in. Reset password to now find out that it's not Dodo or thr NBN.
When I attempt to log in it tells me that I need to connect. Connect to what? If it's talking about data, I connected to our home wifi and have data reception. I tried following instructions couldn't get sone table legs to line up!
