Can't update playlist cover or profile picture

We're getting reports from users who are unable to update their playlist cover or profile picture. Some are getting an error that their changes couldn't be saved and to try again.

I was surprised to honestly bc ive been trying to fix this issue for the past hour and saw this post, and if it is a user wide issue then hopefully theyll hasten to fix the issue.

yep, me too right now. i've tried all these solutions on here, on both my app devices and on web browser. have cleared caches, deleted, uninstalled, tried different networks - nothing. whatever the problem is is either on spotify's end or isn't being conveyed clear enough through the error messages.

My husband and I are having the same issue as well. It doesn't work for custom playlist covers either.

I'm so relieved other people are having this issue too because I've been trying for over an hour and nothing is working. I've tried deleting it off my Mac and phone and re-downloading/logging in, I've tried clearing the cache, I tried changing the image size, I tried changing the image type (some people said it had to be JPEG), I tried doing it directly on the Spotify website... absolutely nothing. I am so so annoyed please lmk if anything changes for you!!!

Devices: iPad 10th gen, iPhone 11, and Pc with Windows.

Country: Dominican Republic

I've done the following:

• Reinstalled the app on my PC, iPad and Mobile, didn't work.
• Logged out everywhere, didn't work.
• Tried to upload different images, in the correct size wich is (2400x2400), didn't work.
• Tried to use another Wifi and mobile data, didn't work.
• Used the app from Microsoft Store, didn't work.
• Tried on Spotify Web, clear cache and cookies, no VPN (and using VPN as well), and tried on Google Chrome and Opera GX, didn't work.

What else should I need to do so Spotify allows me to update my playlists cover? 🙂 I've tried everything from every thread I found here, but IT DOESN'T WORK.

Please help on this, y'all not giving any helpful responses.
