Cannot Add Songs to Queue

Status: Not An Issue
0 Likes
So I just updated to the most recent version of Spotify, and now I can't add songs to my queue. I right click, select "Add to queue", and when I go to my queue, it says there are no songs in my queue. This sucks. Wish I hadn't updated, because the service is pretty much unusable for me now.

Hello @matthewsan,

I'm marking this as "not an issue" for now as it's an isolated case.
You can download the previous versions of Spotify here.

I had the same issue too a while back.

I added lot's of songs to the queue, but it remained empty. Tried a couple of time, restarted the app. Nothing helped. Then I simply started playing a playlist and from there on out I could add items to the queue. It was as if the queue didn't exist until Spotify had played at least one song.

That seemed to work! Thanks!

Hi,

I just wanted to add I am having the exact same problem and it is incredibly frustrating. The same is happening for me on both the web player and the Windows desktop client. I right click on a song, or click the 3 dots and select add song to queue, and nothing happens, I go to the queue and nothing is there.

I managed to add a song to the queue after selecting Play on an entire album, but I don't want to have an entire album, then have to skip through to get to a song I want to listen to.

I'd appreciate any help on the issue.

Thanks!

I'm now having the same issue.  I've already uninstalled, reinstalled.  Still not able to add to queue on desktop running Windows 10. Any solutions?
