Chrome: New Web Player not playing anything

Status: Closed

Been forced to start using new UI, however, it will not playback any audio despite doing a number of fixes posted on here, including:

 

Adding Spotify to plugins exceptions

Clearing cache

Restarting

 

I am a premium user and have loved this service but if I can't use it then I'll have to cancel.

Downloading desktop app is not an option.

Hey there!

That's not cool, we're here to help. 

 

Just to check:
- What's your device, and operating system?
- Does the same thing happen in an incognito window?
- Are you able to test out using another browser to see if this helps?

- Do you get any error messages?
- Are you using speakers/headphones?

If you've not already, we'd also recommend force-quitting your browser, and restarting your whole device too.
