Chromecast devices not detected anymore

As of yesterday spotify (android) cannot detect any chromecast devices (google chromecast and google chromecast audio) anymore. Other apps are not having any difficulty finding the chromecast devices as I can still cast youtube to my chromecast device and listen to music on my chromecast audio via the Deezer app. For now I switch to Deezer, however as a Premium paying customer I think this should be fixed as soon as possible.

Hello! I have the same issue here since the last atualization. I´m also a Premium user and I use Spotify via Chromecast in daily basis. Any news about this issue, Spotify?

Solution: downgrade to a working version: https://spotify.br.uptodown.com/android/old

I´m using the Spotify Web Player at the moment and the connection is working. Hope to see a correction for this issue.

Fixed it by installing the recent beta version from: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/spotify-ltd/spotify/spotify-8-4-37-582-release/

It worked instantly.
