Chromecast available in all other apps just not Spotify.

This is the same issue that was first encountered about a month ago after Spotify pushed an update. No reason was given by Spotify when the issue was resolved. Not sure if there was an update recently but if not then one could conclude that it is a different bug on this occasion?
Just checked Spotify, it issue seems to be resolved. I can see my Chromecast devices again.
